Penemue Angel
Penemue (derived from the Hebrew, penimi — “the within”) is an Enochian observer. He is referenced in Bereshith Rabba as a curer of man’s foolishness. Penemue, as an angel affiliated with Abraxiel (Abraxas), was most likely a member of the Labbim order of healing angels . Penemue is the name of the fourth: he revealed to men’s children bitterness and sweetness, and revealed to them every secret of their intelligence. He taught men how to write and how to utilise ink and paper. There have been countless individuals who have gone astray throughout history and continue to do so to this day. For men were not made for this purpose, with pen and ink in hand to confirm their faith; They were not created for any purpose other than to remain righteous and pure, like the angels. Nor would death, which destroys everything, have impacted [sic] them; but they perish as a result of their knowledge, and as a result of its strength.
